About ÉCRU
Hi, I'm Klaudia.
Photographer, visual stylist and the person behind ÉCRU.
ÉCRU is my creative studio in Lehrte near Hannover, created for women, small brands and meaningful moments.
Photography is at the centre of what I do. Around it comes visual styling - from make-up, colour, fabrics and styling to brand presence, websites and selected studio rentals.
Everything you see here - from the ÉCRU identity to this website - was created and developed by me. I hope you enjoy exploring it.
What is ÉCRU
Photography at the centre. Visual styling around it.
Some people come to me for a portrait or a chapter they want to remember.
Some come because their business needs photography and a stronger visual presence.
Others need a setting, backdrop or styling pieces for a special moment.
Different stories, but the same eye for light, colour, styling and detail.
ÉCRU is not three separate businesses. Photography is the foundation - and the brand work, styling and rentals grow naturally from the same way of seeing.
My story
Before ÉCRU
- more than ten years of my own business in the beauty industry.
Working with women, make-up, styling and the details that change how something feels was part of my everyday work. At the same time, I continued developing professionally in photography - learning, shooting and building my experience alongside my beauty business.
Over the years, photography became a bigger and bigger part of what I wanted to create. And I realised I was rarely interested in only the photograph itself. I noticed the colours, the styling, the logo, the website, the materials and the way everything worked together.
That is ultimately what became ÉCRU: a place where photography stays at the centre, but where I can also help shape everything around it when the story needs more.

The ÉCRU way
What is the story - and how should it feel?
Whether I'm photographing a woman, developing the visual presence of a small brand or creating a portrait setting for a celebration, I begin in the same place. From there, we give it form.
Story
Everything begins with what matters to you - a person, a brand, a moment. First, we listen.
Concept
From the story grows a direction: mood, light, colour, styling. Fewer elements, chosen with care.
Form
Then we give it form - portraits, visuals or a styled setting that feel intentional, quiet and complete.
